DADO is a Goa based design studio that specializes in Architecture + Interior Design. We see architecture as more than just a built structure - it’s about creating spaces that resonate with people & their surroundings. Our designs are rooted in nature, using a raw yet refined palette to craft environments that feel both timeless & deeply connected to their context.
Our exploration in design extends to spaces, light, and textures, evoking emotions intrinsic to the human experience. We focus on spatial experiences that invite exploration, balance function with emotion, and seamlessly integrate the outdoors. Every project is a reflection of our belief that great design isn’t just seen - it’s felt, lived and remembered.
This is what led us to set up our practice in Goa, one of India’s greenest states with staggering landscapes all along the Western Ghats and it's coastlines. What better inspiration could one ask for?
ADHIRAJ BHATTACHARYA
DADO’s ideas come alive with Adhi’s intuitive mind and his knack for taking a simple idea and refining it to something exceptional. His ability to efficiently breeze through any kind of design software allows him to experiment beyond the conventional realms of design thinking.
With his social and energetic nature, he takes the forefront interacting with clients, consultants & vendors, ensuring a smooth management of our projects. His carefully curated Spotify playlists get the work flowing at the studio (you will often see bobbing heads at the work table). One would say his OCD has proven to be a boon at work. (Our secret to consistency in everything we do)
Having worked on endless residential and commercial ventures, his design sensitivity comes from his work experience in Goa. Not to mention, his addiction to the outdoors constantly grows his understanding of the human-nature relationship which forms the basis of our designs.
Wildly creative, one could say that Dinika’s mind has been down the rabbit hole. In the seriousness of today’s world, she brings the right touch of playfulness through her creativity and design thinking into all our projects.
Having worked and lived in Goa since architecture college, she has absorbed the Goan context on all fronts. From understanding local natural material to readapting architectural and interior elements from Goa’s history (Old Portuguese houses).
She can talk to you endlessly about patterns, textures and colours seen on shells, barks, insects and everything else that catches her eye when out in nature. This translates to her knack for interior design, creating compositions that only her mind can comprehend until everyone else sees it in reality, she truly is an Alice in our DADOland.
